Introduction

We teach Korean Martial Arts Taekwondo & Hapkido programs to students of all ages & fitness levels. Join us & learn a positive mental attitude, improve confidence, & focus. We offer In-Person & Online Classes and also Pre-Recorded Video Lessons & Virtual Live Classes.

The following is one possible lesson sequence.  To do your self-paced training, follow this sequence by working from this introduction, basic Korean terminology.

START THE CLASS

​Students understand that the martial arts program works to improve the whole person. Therefore, it insists on the constant interaction between the spiritual and the physical. Students will follow the high ideals of all cultures long ago such as acceptance, non-violence, respect for their peers, dedication to duty, and honor to their superiors.

Students shall maintain a good relationship with their school. Students will be loyal to the spirit of martial arts, as well as to those who are inspired by the martial arts spirit. Since Students have chosen to become a martial artist, Students are thankful to be loyal to its spirit.

Students will not criticize other students. An unwritten rule of martial arts requires that students only speak well of other students.

Students shall be very careful about making promises, but Students shall keep the ones they do make

Students shall be on time for class.

I shall react maturely in every event, regardless of whether it is favorable, frustrating, or disastrous, as I represent my school.

I will always act with my purpose before me I will act with sincerity and honesty.

I will endeavor to overcome any shyness I might feel in front of an audience. In this effort, I will assist my instructors in teaching beginning students whenever possible.

Requirements

  • Students will be involved in physical activity as part of P.E. This course advises students of any potential hazards (including, but not limited to, needing an open workout space, a water bottle if needed, and adequate stretching beforehand) as well as injuries that can occur if not properly supervised.

Description

This flexible course allows you to complete each chapter technique at the most convenient time for you throughout the day/week/month/year.  Classes are not live with the master in real-time, but videos created by the master or posted by the master are pre-recorded and can be paused and replayed however many times you like or need to throughout the full lifetime access of the course.  Students will also complete and turn in assignments at the end of each chapter technique for their belt testing online.

The Learning Objectives Are Student-Centered.  This program provides comprehensive exposure to current applications related to martial arts such as Positive mental attitude, Korean terminology, & Culture of respect, and also Kicking combination, Self defense, Form, and Breaking techniques.  We have designed martial arts programs to make students of all ages and fitness levels more interested, but we have not changed any of the actual content.  So, you will be learning the real Korean martial arts.  As such, you will prepare for the black belt test and it will provide the major internationally recognized certificate recognized by the World Governing Bodies have the value at full International Olympic level and the world-class level.

LIFETIME - Consistent practice and review all learning objectives

Students can record themselves doing the technique we learn each week and post it.  I will provide positive and encouraging feedback to each student.  There are 10 Chapters to complete the black belt program.  Once students complete the 10 chapters, they are ready for their Black Belt Test (BBT).
